Cookies and Similar Storage

This page explains how Mantinomia uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies, including authentication storage, consent tools, and advertising-related technologies.

How Mantinomia uses storage technologies

Mantinomia uses cookies and similar browser technologies to keep accounts signed in, support site functionality, remember certain local preferences, manage advertising consent, and enable advertising for anonymous users where applicable.

Types of cookies and storage we use

  • Essential authentication and session storage, including cookies used through Supabase to maintain login state and secure authenticated functionality.
  • Consent-related storage, including Google Privacy & Messaging or related consent-mode signals used to record privacy and advertising choices where applicable.
  • Advertising-related storage used by Google when advertising is enabled for anonymous visitors. Logged-in users are ad-free.
  • Functional local browser storage for site behavior such as reader preferences, translator-comment toggles, local commentary state, and upload-job notices.

Ads and Europe-specific consent

Mantinomia shows ads only to anonymous users.

In Europe, personalized ads may be shown only after explicit consent. Google Privacy & Messaging is used to collect and manage consent where Google's advertising products apply.

If you do not consent where consent is required, personalized advertising should not be used. Depending on Google's configuration and the applicable region, non-personalized or limited advertising may still be possible in some cases.

How to manage your choices

You can also manage or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Be aware that disabling essential storage may break login or other core site features.
