Mantinomia does not currently have an active revenue system.
The planned model is gradual. Anonymous visitors may eventually see ads. Registered users should be ad-free, but may have limited access to heavier tools. Users who want premium or full features may later pay a subscription. Over time, registered users may also pay for their own storage and AI usage according to actual use.
The money currently belongs to Mantinomia Hårstad, an enkeltmannsforetak run by Ola Oldernes Hårstad. The goal is to make income and running costs transparent: hosting, database use, storage, AI costs, payment costs, development, and other operating expenses should be visible in a clear public account.
There is also a longer-term author model. Mantinomia may present not only open source texts, but also works by authors who want to share their writing and earn money from it. The goal is to track earnings generated by each document accurately and send most of that income to the writer, while Mantinomia keeps a platform or presentation fee for running the service.
